Dr. Keith Ford

Dr. Ford is Board certified in Diagnostic Imaging and is Board certified in Nuclear Medicine.

He completed residencies in Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology at University of California, Davis and was the Chief Resident in Nuclear Medicine. He attended medical school at University of California, Irvine where he was a Regent’s Scholar and received his Medical Degree. Prior to medical school, he received a MS in Oncology at University of Wisconsin, Madison and a BA in Chemistry at California State University, Sacramento.

Since coming to Good Samaritan Hospital in 1984, he has been active in development of Nuclear Medicine procedures and is currently involved in PET imaging. He has served as Radiation Safety Officer for more than ten years. In addition to diagnostic imaging procedures, Dr. Ford is also knowledgeable and experienced in therapy of thyroid cancer and hyperthyroidism with radioactive iodine-131. He is a member of the Radiological Society of North America and of the American Society of Radiology. Additionally, he belongs to numerous other regional and local specialty societies.
